Improving health and safety in the leather and tanning industry

The processes used in the leather tanning industry involve exposure to a wide range of chemicals that affect workers’ health.

To address this, the EU sectoral social dialogue partners COTANCE and industriAll have developed an online tool, which has been adapted by many of our national OiRA partners and is now available in Bulgarian*, Catalan*, Spanish* and Portuguese* language.

Businesses in the leather and tannery sectors are welcome to benefit from the tools available in their language to create and maintain safe and healthy workplaces.
