EU-OSHA has developed this tailored tool to support safe working conditions under COVID-19 restrictions. 

The interactive tool can help in identifying, assessing and managing the risks posed by COVID-19 and ensuring that workers come back to a safe and healthy environment. It includes information on how to handle crucial aspects like physical distancing and hygenic measures. It further covers a range of situations, including what to do if a worker has COVID-19 symptoms, travelling to and from work safely and managing external service providers.

Working in offices - updated tool version

This is the updated version of the Italian office tool. The former version will still be available until end December 2020 on the webpage of the Italian authorities, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the National Institute for Workers' Compensation. New risk assessments should however only be done with this new version. All risk assessments done with the former version are also still available under each individual account when logging in.

Construction

The building construction sector which is mainly made up of micro and small companies registers high levels of work accidents. This sector is characterized by several risk factors, such as working at heights, moving loads, handling machinery and work equipment, the presence of dust and other hazardous chemicals, improper posture, noise and vibration, as well as adverse weather conditions. Accidents usually occur due to unsafe conditions and / or actions. This tool aims to contribute to an improvement of working conditions in the building construction sector, as it allows for an assessment of existing risks and suggests measures to be implemented to control these risks and produces an action plan to be implemented at the workplace.

O setor da construção de edifícios apresenta níveis de sinistralidade laboral elevados sendo constituído fundamentalmente por micro e pequenas empresas. Este setor é caracterizado por vários fatores de risco, destacando-se o trabalho em altura, a movimentação de cargas, o manuseamento de máquinas e equipamentos de trabalho, a presença de poeiras e outras substâncias químicas perigosas, posturas inadequadas, ruído e vibrações, bem como, a condições climáticas adversas. Os acidentes ocorrem geralmente devido a condições e/ou atos inseguros. Esta ferramenta visa assim contribuir para uma melhoria das condições de trabalho no setor da construção de edifícios, pois permite efetuar uma avaliação dos riscos existentes, sugere medidas a implementar para o controlo desses riscos e, produz um plano de ação a ser implementado nos locais de trabalho.
