The social partners the European Federation of Cleaning Industries (EFCI) and UNI Europa have successfully validated the OiRA tool for the cleaning sector to establish a better OSH culture among small and medium enterprises and to assist them in preventing health and safety risks at the workplace.
The OiRA tool offers a full risk assessment in cleaning companies as well as an adequate proven control and prevention measures. It can be easily carried out for diverse workplaces and can involve the employer, team leader, cleaner and client. The tool is focused on health and safety risks related to office and window cleaning, as these two market segments constitute the main activities of cleaning companies.
