EU-OSHA has signed the OiRA memorandum of understanding for the development, use and maintenance of an OiRA tool with the Hotels, Restaurants & Cafés in Europe (HOTREC) and the European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions (EFFAT).
This general agrement provides the basis for the cooperation between EU-OSHA and the European social partners for developing OiRA tool(s). The partners have committed themselves to start developing an OiRA tool for the HORECA sector in close collaboration with EU-OSHA.
The HORECA sector is characterised by plenty of risk factors, including psychosocial risks. EU-OSHA welcomes the new partnership and it is looking forward to a fruitful cooperation.
