EU tool launch - OiRA for hotels and restaurants


The sectoral partners Hotrec and EFFAT launch their new tool on 29 November 2019 in Brussels

The new OiRA tool for the hotel and restaurant sector is launched on 29 November 2019 by the EU Social Partners Hotrec and EFFAT at their sectoral social dialogue plenary meeting in Brussels. The launch is announced in a joined press release highlighting the advantages of the new OiRA tool.

Slips and trips, burns and cuts, as well as hazardous substances and stress are only some of the many risks faced by Horeca workers. The new OiRA tool allows national OiRA and social partners to equip hospitality businesses with a helpful tool to do a proper risk assessment and follow up with an action plan to manage the identified sources of risks.
