The tools are free to download and can be easily accessed by clicking on the relevant link. When working with children, nursery teachers are exposed to various work-related risks such as biological hazards (high risks of infectious diseases), risks caused by uncomfortable working positions as well as by repetitive movements and manual handling of children, psychosocial risks cause d by the high responsibility for health and well-being of children but also by relationships with partners etc.. The OiRA tool for nursery teachers helps to identify and assess work-related risks, and provides guidance on their elimination or minimization.

Pri radu s djecom njegovatelji su izloženi različitim rizicima povezanim s radom poput bioloških štetnosti (visoki rizici od infektivnih bolesti), kemijskih štetnosti prilikom uporabe sredstava za dezinfekciju i čišćenje prostora, statodinamičkih napora (ponavljajući pokreti, prenošenje tereta) i psihofizioloških napora (povećana odgovornost za zdravlje i boljitak djece). OiRA alat za njegovatelje djece - dadilje pomaže u prepoznavanju i procjeni rizika povezanih s radom, te daje smjernice za njihovu eliminaciju ili smanjivanje na najmanju moguću razinu.

The social partners at European level ETUCE and EFEE, in close cooperation with EU-OSHA, have developed this tools to help institutions offering early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) to assess occupational safety and health (OSH) risks and take preventive and effective action, not only for teachers but for all staff concerned!

The elaboration of these tools was introduced in 2016 in a Joint Declaration from both partners: Preventing and Combating Psychosocial Hazards in the Education Sector.

Risks in the education sector are multifaceted and the tools include a great number of prevention measures - for psychosocial risks, risks of slips, trips and falls, risks stemming from a lack of building maintenance, and many more.

This on-line, interactive Risk Assessment tool, by covering a broad range of educational institutions from primary school to secondary education, helps to identify and assess occupational risks of those working in educational institutions and to determine the appropriate measures to eliminate or control them properly. The tool is primarily meant to prevent any accidents and work related health conditions of the teachers in compliance with the applicable national OSH legislation but it also covers other professions working in educational institutions, such as care takers, cleaning personnel, canteen workers, etc. In addition, it is ensuring the safety and health of pupils/students who are present on a daily basis in the school environment and due to this fact, the pedagogical dimension of the tool is of high importance, for the development of an OSH education and the fostering of an OSH risks prevention culture not only among the teachers but among the current pupils/students, the workers and employers of tomorrow.

Το εργαλείο αυτό για τη διαδικτυακή, διαδραστική εκπόνηση της Μελέτης Εκτίμησης Κινδύνου, καλύπτοντας ένα ευρύ φάσμα εκπαιδευτικών μονάδων από το δημοτικό έως και τη δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση, συμβάλλει στην αναγνώριση και την αξιολόγηση των επαγγελματικών κινδύνων για όσους εργάζονται στις σχολικές μονάδες καθώς και στον προσδιορισμό των κατάλληλων μέτρων για την επιτυχή αντιμετώπισή τους. Το εργαλείο αν και εστιάζει στην πρόληψη των ατυχημάτων και των ασθενειών που σχετίζονται με την εργασία των εκπαιδευτικών και σε συμμόρφωση με την ισχύουσα εθνική νομοθεσία για την ΥΑΕ, ωστόσο καλύπτει και άλλους εργαζόμενους στους ίδιους χώρους εργασίας, όπως το βοηθητικό προσωπικό, το προσωπικό καθαριότητας χώρων, τους εργαζόμενους κυλικείων κ.λπ. Επιπρόσθετα, συμβάλλει στη διασφάλιση της ασφάλειας και της υγείας της ευαίσθητης ομάδας των μαθητών/σπουδαστών, οι οποίοι βρίσκονται στο ίδιο περιβάλλον σε καθημερινή βάση και εξαιτίας αυτού του γεγονότος είναι σημαντική η εκπαιδευτική διάσταση της χρήσης του εργαλείου, ως μέσου για την ανάπτυξη παιδείας και την καλλιέργεια νοοτροπίας πρόληψης των κινδύνων όχι μόνο για τους εκπαιδευτικούς αλλά και για τους μαθητές/σπουδαστές, τους μελλοντικούς εργοδότες και εργαζόμενους.

The tool is suitable for educational staff in a wide variety of educational establishments, such as pre-school educational establishments, schools, training schools and universities. People working in the sector are facing risks related to dealing with a lot of different psychosocial risk factors, such as third party violence, bullying and high workload, ergonomic risk factors, e.g. related to standing/seated work and many others as well as other physical risks such as exposure to noise. The tool starts with the identification of hazards and assesses the level of risk, then it allows end-users to choose the most suitable preventive actions to eliminate or reduce risk.  Also included are measures for prevention. This tool is an easy way to improve working conditions of teachers.

Ši priemonė skirta daugeliui švietimo įstaigų, pavyzdžiui, ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigoms, mokykloms, profesinio mokymo įstaigoms ir universitetams. Šiame sektoriuje, dirbantys žmonės susiduria su rizika, susijusi su įvairiais psichosocialiniais rizikos veiksniais, pvz., galimo smurto dėl trečiųjų asmenų veiklos, patyčių ir didelio darbo krūvio, ergonominių veiksnių rizika, susiję su nuolatiniu sėdimu darbu ir daugeliu kitų pavojų, pvz., triukšmo. Priemonė prasideda nuo pavojų nustatymo ir rizikos lygio įvertinimo, tai leidžia vartotojams pasirinkti tinkamiausius prevencinius veiksmus, kad būtų pašalinta arba sumažinta rizika. Taip pat yra įtrauktos įvairios prevencinės priemonės. Ši priemonė yra nesudėtingas būdas pagerinti mokytojų darbo sąlygas.
