Työkalut

Tässä tarjotut alakohtaiset OiRA-työkalut ovat mikro- ja pienyritysten käytettävissä, jotta ne voivat tehdä riskinarviointeja ja niitä voidaan auttaa laatimaan niiden omien vaatimusten mukaan muokattua dokumentoitua arviointia. Työkalut ovat vapaasti ladattavissa, ja niitä pääsee käyttämään helposti napsauttamalla asiaankuuluvaa linkkiä. Jokaisessa linkissä on lyhyt kuvaus työkalusta ja sen kehittäneen OiRA-kumppanin nimi. Työkaluja voidaan etsiä maan, kielen ja alan mukaan.

Butchers

The tool helps identify and evaluate the risks of butchers and meat processing companies. The tool covers a wide range of risks including cuts due to the handling of knives,  thermal risks from handling frozen pieces of meat or from working in refrigerators and MSDs due to static standing postures or the handling and transferring of large pieces of meat. The tool is not intended for slaughterhouses.

This tool is intended for micro and small companies to conduct their occupational and safety risk assessment. A broad variety of hazards related to working outdoors is covered by the tool, including exposure to different climatic conditions (high and low temperatures, precipitation and winds, humidity, etc.), falls from height, exposure to chemical and biological hazards, as well as ergonomic aspects.

During the development of the Belgian tool OiRA Wood, the potential risks associated with the timber industry have been put under the microscope and have shown that companies and their workers need to be more attentive to the risks they incur. These risks are for example related to exposure to noise and dust (wood), and the use of hazardous products. OiRA Wood is the result of intensive collaboration between FPS Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue, the CSC, the CTIB (the Technical Centre for Wood Industry), the FBCIB (Belgian Federation of Timber Import Trade), Fedustria (Belgian Federation of the textile industry, wood and furniture), the FGTB, the NSF (National Federation of sawmills), the United Hout, Prevent (technical support), the UNEBO (National Union of Enterprises of Wood).
