Tässä tarjotut alakohtaiset OiRA-työkalut ovat mikro- ja pienyritysten käytettävissä, jotta ne voivat tehdä riskinarviointeja ja niitä voidaan auttaa laatimaan niiden omien vaatimusten mukaan muokattua dokumentoitua arviointia. Työkalut ovat vapaasti ladattavissa, ja niitä pääsee käyttämään helposti napsauttamalla asiaankuuluvaa linkkiä. Jokaisessa linkissä on lyhyt kuvaus työkalusta ja sen kehittäneen OiRA-kumppanin nimi. This tool helps identify and evaluate risks during the work of driving instructors at driving schools. This includes lecturing in the classroom as well as teaching practical lessons in the car. A broad range of risks have been addressed including prolonged sedentary work as well as psychosocial risks of working with demanding clients, and adverse climate conditions.

This tool is intended mostly for micro and small bakeries to conduct their safety and health risk assessment. It covers a broad variety of risks including mechanical hazards when handling mechanized and hand tools (danger of cuts!), slips, trips and falls, hazards of explosive flour concentration, thermal hazards due to handling hot objects, unfavorable microclimatic conditions due to baking, ergonomic risks due to static body positions or manual handling of loads as well as psychosocial risks.

Risks in the education sector are multifaceted and the tools include a great number of prevention measures - for psychosocial risks, risks of slips, trips and falls, risks stemming from a lack of building maintenance, and many more.

This on-line, interactive Risk Assessment tool, by covering a broad range of educational institutions from primary school to secondary education, helps to identify and assess occupational risks of those working in educational institutions and to determine the appropriate measures to eliminate or control them properly. The tool is primarily meant to prevent any accidents and work related health conditions of the teachers in compliance with the applicable national OSH legislation but it also covers other professions working in educational institutions, such as care takers, cleaning personnel, canteen workers, etc. In addition, it is ensuring the safety and health of pupils/students who are present on a daily basis in the school environment and due to this fact, the pedagogical dimension of the tool is of high importance, for the development of an OSH education and the fostering of an OSH risks prevention culture not only among the teachers but among the current pupils/students, the workers and employers of tomorrow.

It allows an assessment of existing risks, suggests measures to control those risks and also produces an action plan to be implemented.

In fruit and vegetable companies (producers of jams, pastas, sauces and preserves) the main risk factors are associated with standing, improper postures, manual handling of loads, high temperatures and humid environments, the use of machines with unprotected moving parts, lack of training of workers and disregard for the correct use of safety devices and the safety instructions provided by the manufacturers. Thus, this OiRA tool addresses the main hazards in the various work areas, from receiving raw materials to storing finished products. Bakers / confectioners work in facilities where bread, cakes, fresh pastries, snacks (fried, tender dough and puff pastry) and regional confectionery are made. Their work is demanding and is carried out under difficult environmental conditions. The work is mostly performed under artificial light, at high temperatures accompanied by variations in humidity, in the presence of breathable particles, explosive atmospheres and excessive noise. The existence of night work, exposure to biological agents and manual handling of cargo are other risk factors present in the manufacture of bakery / pastry products naturally affecting all who work there. Thus, this OiRA tool addresses the main hazards that exist in the various work areas, from receiving raw materials to storing and shipping final products. The tool also addresses issues associated with emergencies, psychosocial and stress risks, as well as structural, environmental and occupational safety and health management hazards / risks.
