Tässä tarjotut alakohtaiset OiRA-työkalut ovat mikro- ja pienyritysten käytettävissä, jotta ne voivat tehdä riskinarviointeja ja niitä voidaan auttaa laatimaan niiden omien vaatimusten mukaan muokattua dokumentoitua arviointia. Työkalut ovat vapaasti ladattavissa, ja niitä pääsee käyttämään helposti napsauttamalla asiaankuuluvaa linkkiä. Jokaisessa linkissä on lyhyt kuvaus työkalusta ja sen kehittäneen OiRA-kumppanin nimi. This tool is intended for companies that perform construction work outdoors (e.g. work on roof, insultation works, decoration and restoration of facades). Construction in general is a sector characterised by multiple risk factors, including falling of workers and objects, exposure to dust and fibres, noise, vibration, weather conditions unsuitable for work, work in awkward postures and heavy object lifting and moving. It starts with the identification of hazards and it assesses the level of risk, allowing end-users to choose the most suitable preventive actions to eliminate or reduce the risk(s). The tool also includes safety requirements for scaffolding and personal protective equipment for fall prevention, tips on ergonomics, protection of respiratory system and safe use of work equipment. These allow employees to protect themselves from accidents resulting from falls from heights and, at the same level, to reduce the load for the back and joints, as well as to introduce the main principles of fire protection and so on. This tool is an easy way to improve working conditions for workers in the construction sector and its use can contribute to keep them healthy, motivated and with good work ability.

The primary purpose of the Icelandic version of the agricultural OiRA tool is to help farmers to improve their working conditions and minimise risk at the farm. It is easy to use, free and open to all. With OiRA, users get a tool in their hands that helps them to assess the risks in their own work environment. The tool evaluates the risks and returns the results in a report that is only to be seen and used by the farmer or workers at the farm. The tool sets out proposals and examples of improvements in the working environment. There are also references to laws and regulations, number of images for explanation and links to more informative material. Emphasis is placed on fire and accident prevention and handling of machines. Health factors are assessed and risk by infectious diseases is discussed. The general condition of the farm is assessed since it is a part of potential risk factors which have to be taken into consideration. Also included are tips for prevention of accidents related to work with animals, reduce workload on back and joints and instructions to eliminate fall risks. Proper health and safety risk assessments done with the Oira tool, can prevent many accidents and help the employer to find proper solutions.
