Tässä tarjotut alakohtaiset OiRA-työkalut ovat mikro- ja pienyritysten käytettävissä, jotta ne voivat tehdä riskinarviointeja ja niitä voidaan auttaa laatimaan niiden omien vaatimusten mukaan muokattua dokumentoitua arviointia. Työkalut ovat vapaasti ladattavissa, ja niitä pääsee käyttämään helposti napsauttamalla asiaankuuluvaa linkkiä. Jokaisessa linkissä on lyhyt kuvaus työkalusta ja sen kehittäneen OiRA-kumppanin nimi. Työkaluja voidaan etsiä maan, kielen ja alan mukaan.

Employees, crews, performers and all other staff involved in audiovisual productions are constantly exposed to risks that can lead to injuries and other health repercussions. This tool is intended to anyone who aims to assess the health and safety risks related to audiovisual productions such as feature films, short films, documentaries, television series, commercials, video clips, video art, virtual reality and so on. The EU OiRA tool is the result of the project titled “Developing an Online Interactive Risk Assessment tool for film and TV productions” and was developed in a cooperation between the European Social partners of the sector, the European Coordination of Independent Producers (CEPI), the International Federation of Actors (FIA), the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF), the International Federation of Musicians (FIM) and UNI Europa - media, entertainment & arts and with the support of EU-OSHA.

The sector is characterized by multiple risk factors such as poor ergonomics leading to pain and musculoskeletal disorders, psychosocial aspects like dealing with difficult clients or violence, manual lifting of heavy weights etc. The tool includes tips on how to better prevent employees from the risks identified. It includes tips on reduction of workload and improvement of work organization. It helps reducing accidents at work and enables better prevention against occupational diseases. Using the tool contributes to keeping workers healthy, motivated and with good work ability.

The tool is adapted to the specific characteristics of the sector, such as the bus as a working environment with specific attention to the safety and security of the driver, the depot, the garage, … In addition to identifying the risks, solutions are provided to manage them. The tool contributes to better and safer working conditions in the sector which will lead to healthy and motivated workers.
