BeSMART is an interactive web-based tool designed to allow SMEs to comply with these legal requirements by producing and recording OSH risk assessments.BeSMART is part of EU-OSHA's interactive risk assessment tools network (IRAT).
This case study describes BeSMART’s journey: from its development in 2010 until now it has reached over a quarter of all Irish SMEs, with approximately 43,000 registered users. The case study also elaborates on challenges for the future of BeSMART and other online interactive risk assessment tools, as well as its success factors.
